Claus Table Lamp is a travertine and walnut table lamp conceived as a compact architectural object for bedside and console settings. Its stance is quiet and deliberate, led by massing and proportion rather than ornament. A tiered stone and wood base alternates honed travertine with warm walnut, each layer cut cleanly so the transitions remain precise. The vertical stack supports a lacquered dome shade, keeping the composition clear and materially legible. Light diffuses from the dome into a warm ambient glow, grazing the stone and timber before settling into the room. The lamp’s sculptural profile holds presence on its own yet leaves enough negative space around books, trays, and objects.
