Gustav Table Lamp

The Gustav Table Lamp is a travertine and walnut table lamp conceived as a compact architectural object for consoles, bedside surfaces, and shelving. Its stance is calm and deliberate, defined by volume, rhythm, and material contrast. A tiered wood and stone base alternates honed travertine with warm walnut, each layer cut cleanly so the stack reads as a measured column rather than a decorative stack. Above, a lacquered dome shade completes the composition with a single, controlled curve. Light settles through the dome into a soft ambient glow, grazing the stone and timber before diffusing into the room. The lamp’s sculptural profile holds presence at close range yet leaves surrounding surfaces quiet and usable.
